Background: Hutt District Cricket Club is a proud club with significant tradition. This was quite evident by the success of our recently held Centenary celebrations.
Following on from the Hutt District Cricket Club Centenary it was decided that we needed a way of involving our past players and club members in a non-playing capacity that continued their connection with the Club. To facilitate this need it was decided by the committee to establish the "Boundary Club" .
Aim: To build on the momentum created by the recent Centenary celebrations and increase the presence of non-playing members at HDCC club rooms during the playing season.
It is our intention to provide Boundary Club members the facility to spend a couple of hours each saturday so that they may enjoy the comradship of other members whilst enjoying the thrill of watching senior cricket from the comfort of our Clubrooms and/or boundary.
Boundary Club Entitlements:
- Discounted drinks at the clubrooms on a Saturday afternoon (when presenting Boundary Club member card)
- Boundary Club seating area with Leaners and Couches by the Boundary to Number 1 (weather permitting)
- Free BBQ every month for the second day of a designated senior match
- 2 Boundary Club events a year (1 before Xmas, one after, format TBC)
- All Boundary Club events will be promoted via the HDCC website or text alert
Boundary Club Membership Fees: $100 per annum.
